Mini Match Play

This is new concept event modeled after the WGC match play.  This is an individual event.

Sign ups will be taken for players interested in playing.  16 registrants will then be randomly selected to play. Players must be able to play both days if successful on Day 1.

If selected, the entry fee of $25 will be invoiced to the player's account

Field of 16 will be randomly divided into Pods of 4 players. Pod 1, 2, 3, 4

Day 1 will be 3 x 6 hole round robin matches within each pod @ 30% handicap

Holes 1-6: A vs B, C vs D
Holes 7-12: A vs C, B vs D
Holes 13-18: A vs D, B vs C
Each match will be scored as 1 pt for win; .5 for tie; 0 for loss

Day 2 will be 2 x 9 hole matches at 50% handicap

Semi-final matches:
Pod 1 winner vs Pod 3 winner
Pod 2 winner vs Pod 4 winner

Finals:
Winner of Pod 1/3 vs Winner of Pod 2/4

Consolation Match:
Runner up of Pod 1/3 vs Runner up of Pod 2/4
